Want to Really Shape Your Abs and Not Lose Muscle

I am constantly getting emails from people just like you who not only want to sculpt sexy six pack abs but they don’t want to lose any muscle that they have worked hard to get!

So today I want to share with you, 4 ways to burn calories, strip away belly fat and gain muscle – all at the same time.

You may have a little excess flab or belly fat around your midsection, just below your belly button. Now if you really want to put on muscle you may be wondering how is it possible to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time?

Here’s how…

1. Eat Protein rich foods: To gain lean muscle mass, eat chicken, beef and fish. A general rule of thumb is that you want 1 gram of muscle-building protein per pound of your target body weight.

For example, if your target body weight is 190lbs, you will need to consume 190 grams of protein per day.

2. Total Body Exercises: Don’t just focus on working your abs everyday, throw in a total-body workout that targets your largest muscle groups(legs and back) that involves compound exercises.

These exercises will allow you to lift heavier weights, which in turn breaks down your muscles and makes them grow. I highly recommend the deadlift.

3. Food Cheat early in the day: Reward yourself with 2 scoops of ice cream approximately 2 hours after your workout. According to a study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, ice cream triggers a spike in insulin levels better than other sugary foods plus it will eliminate any post-workout protein breakdown.

4. Stay away from the weight scales: There’s no need to hop on the scale everyday! Instead keep track of your reps and sets. At least this way you’ll see gains in your personal journal and your clothes will start to fall off you! Here’s to a new wardrobe!
